The Waiting is the Hardest Part

I completely understand this feeling, it is awful. The response to the kind of assignments (for lack of better words) can provide such a “make or break” feeling. Sometimes, I will hold onto an assignment too long just to avoid that waiting anxiety. Fingers Crossed that you get the amazing feedback that you deserve for your hard work and dedication.

It is. Waiting can be agonizing, like holding your breath underwater past the time you can really do it.

Writing the business plan/grant proposal was easy, compared to waiting for the results. It’s the most exquisite torture, to have put all your hopes and dreams into something, waiting for them to be dashed. I have not told anyone this but I will be very suicidal if this happens. I really take this stuff seriously!
