An Itch’n in my shoes

I can’t stand still and I don’t want to

If I did, people would leave anyway

I’m happy when I’m moving

I’m happy to leave first

If I stay too long, bad things happen

If I leave too soon, I miss out

I can’t win and I don’t expect to

I’m not a pessimist, but a realist

I want to love and be loved, but don’t know if I can

I don’t want to be loved because people always leave

I’m not good enough for someone to stay, or at least, I haven’t been yet

It’s always my fault even when I take full responsibility for my actions

Staying still too long means being invested in something that is going to fail

I’m happy when I’m moving

I’m happy to leave first

I can’t stand still and I don’t want to
